Room Features1887 Resort ApartmentsThe Crane`s original historic hotel boasts charming, spacious oceanfront apartments with hardwood floors, 12-foot ceilings and exquisite antique furniture. Many rooms in this unique building also feature fully equipped kitchens and wrap-around balconies with spectacular ocean views.Private ResidencesPrivate residences at The Crane boast the finest in furniture and finishes, including hand-crafted Barbadian mahogany furniture, objects d'art, mahogany four-poster king size beds, spa showers with multiple shower heads, private Jacuzzis, oriental carpets, cable TVs, and DVD players.The setting, however, provides the true feel of the property: old-world coral stone walls, 10-foot high timber tray ceilings, central air-conditioning, floor-to-ceiling marble bathrooms, and amazing ocean views of The Crane`s crystal clear, turquoise waters. EntertainmentProtected by a natural coral reef just about where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea, Crane Beach boasts one of the best swimming venues on the island of Barbados. Besides being safe and having a gentle descent from shallow to deep, it`s also soft on your feet as there are no sea urchins, stones or coral underneath. However, they are located on the southeast coast of Barbados, where at times the sea current could become strong. Caution should be taken at all times.On Sundays The Crane offers live entertainment during the Gospel Buffet Breakfast and Buffet Lunch. L`Azure and Zen restaurants feature soft piped music. |
